Free Pass
I guess everyone who voted for a Democrat majority Congress person over 700 days ago have given them a free pass because one of the platforms they ran on was they were going to take action against the high oil prices. THAT was lip service. They don’t seem to be doing anything about the problem other than trying to make the price of gas go up to $5 a gallon. Which would be a 47% rise in prices. Yeah what a help that’ll be at the pumps! The same bill wanted to raise our oil costs for heating our homes up to 147% of what it currently is. If you are saying to yourself that that’s not what we want your absolutely correct. It’s not what I want at all. The same bill would have led to record high unemployment but they don’t seem to care about either. The only action I’m seeing is a bunch of knucleheads attempting to take OPEC to court. If that’s the best action you’ve got then you are doing nothing positive to rectify the situation.
Honestly, those people made promises to do something and then didn’t do a damn thing and they should be held accountable for their inaction! It’s funny how Democrats aren’t held to the fire over promises and Republicans are.
During my time in the military when we had subordinates that made promises and didn’t follow through we had a saying….SHUT UP AND COLOR. That’s exactly what we should be saying to each and every one of our elected Democrat officials in the congress and senate. When gas prices are high, SHUT UP AND COLOR, we don’t want to hear about the scam called man-made global warming. SHUT UP AND COLOR, we really don’t care about the environmental whackos legistlation, we are taking care of America! SHUT UP AND COLOR, we could care less about footing the global warming bill all by ourselves. SHUT UP AND COLOR, I truely don’t care about Moose when it comes to my family budget. Moose will move into another area and live just as good. JUST SHUT UP AND COLOR!
Another thing I, as a taxpayer, don’t want to hear is about how much other people are paying for the same gas we’re getting for half of the price. I truley don’t care about how much gas is in Germany and the UK. I care about America. When I say drill now, I damn well mean it! I don’t want to know how to build an oil well or how long it’ll take for it to be operational! Any step forward is better than what we have now!
