This was kind of sad and hillarious at the same time. Barney Frank got powned in this interview. He refuses to admit any blame in the fall of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.
You can hear this interview here.
I find it incredible that Barney Frank refuses to admit he’s screwed up or at least he didn’t recognize the problems they were having. According to him, he’s only been in charge for 2 years. Jeeze, the same people said that 9/11 was George W’s fault because he was the president for 9 months when it hit. You see how these people are changing the rules because they feel they are entitled. Where I come from that’s called hypocracy. If 9/11 was George W’s fault then the current crisis is Barney Frank’s fault.

A very wise man grew tired one day of arguing with ‘Pea Brains’ who’s sole purpose in life was to sow seeds of discontent and to satisfy their own selfish desires through the manipulation of truth and use of clever concealment . So he decided to take a ‘day off’ and do a little shopping at a nearby row of stores. He entered an ‘Antique’ shop and decided to look for something to dress up a barren table that sat next to his huge picture window. Nothing in the shop managed to appeal to him. Just then the proprietor entered from the back room. After exchanging greetings the proprietor then asked if there was anything he could show to him. The wise man was about say no when he noticed a dark cloth covering what appeared to be a small bronze statue. He suddenly grew curious and inquired as to what was beneath the cloth. The proprietor leaned forward and said “The hidden object is cursed! I removed it from my home many years ago and have kept it here in the shop because I don’t know how to dispose of it properly!” The wise man asked to see the object. It was a beautiful bronze duck. Not believing in curses and seeing an opportunity to negotiate a bargain price he offered to ‘take it off the man’s hands’. The proprietor agreed but on the condition that he would not accept money for the cursed bronze duck and the wise man could never return it under any circumstances.
The wise man took hold of his prize, thanked the proprietor and left the store quickly so as not to give him a chance to change his mind. As he walked towards his home the wise man noticed an actual duck following behind him. As he continued to walk, more ducks gathered behind him. ‘How peculiar he thought’ as he kept walking.
Just before arriving at his home he heard flocks of ducks gathering in the sky above him. As he looked up before entering his home he counted them in the hundreds.
Once inside the man placed the bronze duck on the table by the window as he intended to do and then went about his household chores. When he began to hear what sounded like birds pecking at his roof. Soon there came the sounds of heavy objects bouncing off of the external walls of his home.As he turned and looked towards the window he saw that his front yard was covered with ducks and the skys outside grew dark from thousands of ducks in flight!
It was then that he realized that there was in fact a terrible truth to the curse of the bronze duck. He knew he would have to remove it from his house quickly! But he promised not to attempt to return it to the owner of the Antique Shop. Being wise, he decided it would be best to make a dash for a nearby bridge and cast the cursed bronze duck into the deep waters below. As he ran for the bridge the ducks followed him in a state of frenzy. When the wise man threw the cursed bronze duck into the water each and every duck had followed the bronze duck into the water and perished!
The wise man then returned to the Antique Shop. The proprietor once again entered from the back room with a fearful look on his face. He shouted at the ‘wise man’ saying
‘I knew you would be back! And we agreed that you cannot return that evil object! It is yours!”
The ‘wise man’ quietly assured the proprietor that he was not returning the bronze duck to him. The proprietor was relieved to hear this and then asked the man what was the purpose of his return visit?
The ‘wise man’ then asked “Do you happen to have any bronze ‘Liberals’ ?
