Senator Benjamin Cardil (D) is attempting to have newspaper companies to be declared non-profit agencies to save them.  I say let them go under if they can’t turn a profit.  I’d rather see them go under than under the control of the government.  The reason these companies are having so much problems selling newspapers is because they are irrevelant.  I name a half of a dozen sites on the internet to get the same news stories for free why pay .75 for it.  Besides these reporters have done this by themselves by endorsing political candidates and shamelessly shilling for them in their news stories.  There was a time when reputable newspapers wrote 50/50 about presidential candidates.  The last election the coverage was 80/20 in favor of Obama.

How do you get unbiased reporting when the government controls the media?  You don’t!  So why go there?
